Saturday 27th February
Meet at West Wanaka Station from 3pm.
Sunday 1st March
We will ride a loop over the Southern end of the Buchanans following a big fence my father built. A second night at West Wanaka Station
Monday 2nd
We ride up onto the western face of the Buchanans cross the Matukituki River to Aspiring Station.
Tuesday 3rd
Ride upto Cascade Hut. (Or Aspiring Hut) - dependant on DOC. Then back to Aspiring Station for a second night.
Wednesday 4th
We ride across the Matukituki River to its East Branch past the old Historical homestead then down the river to Matukituki Station and Party Night. "Leather, Lace and Cowboy Hats"
Thursday 5th
Late start then we head for Cattle Flat Station and possibly up the Treble Cone Ski Area road (DOC Dependant) then back down the road to Cattle Flat.
Friday 6th
We leave Cattle Flat and ride up onto Rocky Hill, past Diamond Lake, through Glendu Station onto Alpha Burn Station.
Saturday 7th
We all load up and Float/Trucks to Tarras.
