TERRAIN :
The terrain is generally easy rolling with gradual climbs but with one big climb up to the summit of
Thompsons Gorge Track on the Thursday.
We will be meeting on Saturday 27 th Feb at Wedderburn Cottages, directly across from the
Wedderburn Hotel. Staying here for 2 nights before our vehicles are moved through to the St
Bathan’s Domain for 2 nights, while we explore this historic area.
Wednesday see’s us making our way through Cambrians and Drybread to Matakanui to camp at the
base of the Thompsons Gorge Track before crossing over into the Ardgour Valley then onto Tarras
on Friday ready for the celebrations on Saturday 6 th of March.
